NFA Gun Trusts
Our Gun Safes Are Made Out Of Paper
The United States is the only country in the world to place in its founding documents a right for its citizens to keep and bear arms. George Washington once said, "Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence … from the hour the Pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to ensure peace security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference — they deserve a place of honor with all that's good."
The political climate in our country is no longer as favorable toward gun ownership. At Udoka Law, PC, we are pleased to provide you with an appropriate safeguard to your right to keep and bear arms. After all, your gun protects you from lawbreakers. But what protects you from lawmakers? Our lawyers would count it a privilege to create a gun trust for you.
Why Do I Need An Oklahoma Gun Trust?
Firearms are special assets. They are valuable and give you the peace of mind that your family is safe. Our National Firearms Act (NFA) gun trust gives you the assurance that your assets are secure. The trust is designed to protect you from old and new laws and to streamline your ownership process as much as possible.
Protect Your Weapons For Your Children
An NFA firearm trust can name multiple people as trustees, who would then be allowed to possess and use NFA weapons owned by the trust. Those individuals and the trust beneficiaries can be designated at the outset of the trust or added or deleted at a later date. Therefore, as the needs in your family change, the trust can change with these requirements. However, without a trust, the individual owner — and no one else — can possess the NFA item, and others may only use it in that owner's presence.
